Philip Marvin has been teaching and studying Shakespeare for over 30 years. He has studied at the Shakespeare Institute in Stratford upon Avon, home of Shakespeare and the Royal Shakespeare Company and taken groups studying not only the plays but Shakespeare’s sonnets in great depth. He has a spiritual background and training himself which helps him to open up the layers of meaning and hidden life that these extraordinary works contain. Creating the conditions where people can appreciate the transformational power of these works through the measured sounds and rhythms which they are made up of, is at the heart of his approach. Exercises conducive to opening up new insights and understanding are provided.
